Burkmann CALF STARTER-DEC, a medicated, textured starter feed for dairy and orphaned beef calves. Key features include:

• Medication: Contains Decoquinate (45.4 g/ton) for the prevention of coccidiosis caused by Eimeria bovis and E. zuemii.
• Nutritional Support: Includes Selenium Yeast for immunity, probiotics for gut health, and a guaranteed analysis of crude protein (min 20%), crude fat (min 4.5%), crude fiber (max 6%), and various vitamins and minerals.
• Palatability: Described as a "sweet feed," a highly palatable, coarse-textured grain concentrate.
• Feeding Directions: To be fed as the first dry feed with milk replacer at a rate of 1 lb. per 100 lbs. of body weight per day. Calves should switch to a grower feed after reaching 350-400 lbs.
• Warnings/Cautions: Do not feed to cows producing milk for food or use in feeds containing bentonite. Feed for at least 28 days during periods of coccidiosis exposure.
